Performance

Across theatre, film and television, in both the avant-garde and high profile screen work, Amanda has comprehensive knowledge of performance techniques, artistic mediums, industry practices and creative methodologies. With over ninety professional credits her recent screen work includes; Netflix's KAOS and Apple TV's Hijack. 

 

Amanda is recipient of significant national awards including the Queens Trust Award for Young Australians for the Achievement of Excellence, an Ian Potter Cultural Trust Award for Outstanding Potential in the Arts, an AACTA Award and Film Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actress. She was nominated for a Green Room Award for her work in the Melbourne Festival production of Medea and for an Irish Theatre Award for Best Ensemble in Abi Morgan's Spendour. Amanda also starred in ITV's Unforgotten 4 which was recently nominated for a best drama BAFTA.

In 2001, Amanda co-founded the Melbourne theatre company The Hoist which produced four critically acclaimed productions; It's A Family Affair, Antigone, Bearhunt and The Government Inspector. Her theatre work in London includes directing and performing in Fantasmata, which featured at the Peckham Festival 2018 and she recently starred in The Daughter Abroad at Theatre 503.
